So - we're back to my favourite time of the month. No not that time - my Liana Marcel Designs Subscription Box! This month it's Pandas! I was so excited when I was on holiday when I heard it had arrived, and then even debated coming back home just to grab it! Just to fill any of you that haven't seen my previous unboxing - Liana Marcel Designs is lovely enough to send out this box to me each month. As a small crafter, she lovingly hand crafts and creates these great themed boxes that arrive every month - and trust me. Once you get one, you won't look back. So let's dive right in and let you know what I got! Side note - My camera has decided to not work, so please excuse the rubbish quality. The pictures do not do these items justice. All of the subscription boxes come packaged wonderfully in lots of fancy tissue paper which of course amuses me as much as it possibly can. This month was no exception and contained lots of cute stripes with the trademark "the marcel club" sticker, which removes so easily that I can use it again as wrapping paper for my holiday presents! I thought I would mix things up and use Cabbage the T-Rex as my model today. So the first item you get is the information page, that lets you know about the theme of the box and any information that you need to know. I love reading these as Liana writes it all herself, so I feel like I'm having an insight into her creative soul - and trust me. It's wonderful in there. The next two items are a colouring page that you can colour in and post to her page for a great reward, and the most adorable post card on this planet. How she ever thought of a Pandicorn evades my brain, but I am so glad that she did! Being a huge pastel lover, the entire design makes my mind decide never to send it, but to frame it for my wall. Which is exactly what I did! The next item is something that I have fallen in love with, within milliseconds. The little panda bead fits onto any Pandora bracelet if you don't want to keep it on the bracelet, however the bracelet itself is so nice to wear and matches all of my accessories I horde. I personally chose to (Once I finished screaming) to put the bead onto my Chamilia bracelet with my other similar beads, and when I looked back to the bracelet - Geran had stolen it for himself. Typical! However he is just as happy with it as I am and hey! Double purpose! The next item is a sparkly resin Panda brooch, who's eyes jiggle when you move. This is so well crafted, that I genuinely thought that this was purchased from a shop. It came in a small fabric tie string bag which got me so excited to see what was inside, and I now use it to store my rings as the fabric shines them whilst they are sat safely inside. I'm wearing this every day on my winter coat and I have had so many compliments on this, and I just stand there proudly and announce it was hand crafted. If you aren't a big brooch wearer, then don't forget - adding them to scarves, bags and purses make an old item new again, and add a bit of necessary sparkle that we all need. Now this little devil was so hard to try and photograph as he kept rolling away from me, but it was worth it in the end. This little panda bag charm is the new addition to my handbag - I swear if she keeps making these things so damn cute I will have more key-rings than bag soon! The fact that he is holding a little bit of bamboo makes my heart melt and with green being my favourite colour - this is perfect for me. This has to be one of my favourite items from the box - a panda magnetic peg. Now I am a huge photo lover, and I cover the walls with photos of every memory I can find, but my knees quiver at the thought of new ways to put them up. This cute little peg is the new addition to my fridge holding up one of my favourite photos me and Geran, and it makes my boring fridge (Named Viscount Vladimir - Yes I name everything) look bright and part of the room rather than just an appliance. Told you! This podgy little panda is a cute hand cream that leaves you so super soft - Just like a panda's baby bottom ... wait, wouldn't that be fuzzy? Never mind. It's fair to say that this is such a handy item to have in you bag for those up coming winter months. Once again you get a pack of seeds - this time Bamboo to match the fun Panda theme. Now - as a girl who can barely keep herself alive, I struggle nurturing plants so these are getting popped into my mum's bag who loves these seeds and can't wait to start on the Bamboo! The next adorable thing, is the one I look forward to most. STATIONARY! This month is of course pandas and comes with a small notepad and matching pen which makes me too happy to explain to you. I love nothing more than leaving annoying notes around the place for Geran which of course drives him insane but it's too much fun to stop. The next two items are my favourite two from this box. The first being this gorgeous little hair bow. Now, I was a huge fan of these in high school and I wore them relentlessly so of course I thought cute! Brings back memories. Then I actually just shoved it in my hair to remember where I put it, and DIDN'T TAKE IT OFF FOR A WEEK. I've literally wore this little bow relentlessly, just in the side of my hair or in my plaits and bows. It's made me stupidly happy and I have no idea why. The colours are my favourite to wear and it just looks so damn cute it makes me want to cry. It's made so sturdy, and I have no fear of it falling out like normal hair accessories. So finally the last item is this amazing panda necklace. I genuinely thought that this had been purchased, and opening up the matching packaging made my knees shake. The gold chain is dainty and bright gold in colour which adds a touch of glamour to a simple design, and the panda itself it so happy and bright that it makes me giddy. Like the bow, I have refused to remove this, and I doubt I ever will.
Liana Marcel's boxes are my favourite time of the month, and make me so happy to open. Everything is wrapped so perfectly and can be worn so easily that I never find something in here that I don't want to keep unless someone physically takes them from me. I can actually see my friend eyeing this up as I type so I better type fast! The pure fact that Liana hand crafts everything herself, and puts all of this time and effort to bring a smile and a bit of sparkle to everyone makes it more special than you can imagine. To top it off she is one of the nicest and most interesting people I have had ever had the joy to speak to and I can't wait to see what she does in the future. You can find Liana and all of her wonderful products on her website and on her facebook page so go ahead and take a look - you won't regret it!
